President and Founder

Shannon M. Astrike, CPA, PFS, began her career as a Certified Public Accountant in 1993. She attended Purdue University and received her BA in Accounting from Central Michigan University in December of 1993.  She is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).  She has been a Professional Financial Advisor since 1998.  She obtained the designation of Personal Financial Specialists (PFS) in 2010. Shannon specializes in assisting small businesses and individuals with their tax and accounting needs, and financial advisory services.   Shannon worked for a regional accounting firm for 13 years and then founded Astrike Financial PLLC on August 1, 2006. She has received many distinguished awards during her career including:

  • Cetera Financial Specialist 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Leaders Council Award

Shannon is a past board member of Family and Children’s Services; past president of the Board at North Midland Family Center and is currently a member of the CMU Accounting Advisory Committee, The Northeastern Michigan Estate Planning Council, The Cetera Women's Impact Network Committee, The Michigan Technological University Accounting Advisory Council, and the Midland Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the 2002 Class of Leadership Midland. She has been active in various community events and fundraisers, during her professional career.

Shannon is married to her husband, Derek, and they have two children. She has resided in the Midland area for the past 31 years! In her spare time, she enjoys running, fishing, hunting, boating, traveling, and spending time with her family. She and her family attend Hope Lutheran Church in Rhodes, Michigan.
